Data protection guideline


Protecting your privacy is very important to JETEX Textilien AG ( or JETEX. Follows are the guidelines on how JETEX processes the customer’s personal data.

Personal data is securely transmitted using encryption via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). JETEX secures its website and other systems through technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of customer’s personal data by unauthorized persons. Access to the customer’s account is only possible after entering the chosen personal password. Access information should always remain confidential and the browser window should be closed when you have finished your communication with JETEX.

Data collection

Visiting JETEX’s site is possible without disclosing and sharing any personal information.

JETEX only collects data with regards to actions linked to our website and our e-mail campaigns in order to offer customers a personalized shopping experience. For that reason JETEX collects data deriving from cookies to increase the relevance of advertisements on the website and in e-mail campaigns. JETEX collects anonymous data and does not process any information in order to determine an identity provided by third parties or others without the person’s consent. JETEX collects and store data of surfing behaviour on its website as well as actions in relation to JETEX’s email campaigns. JETEX does not share information with third parties, except with mandated providers.

Personal data is only collected once the customer voluntarily enters it during the order process, when the customer creates a customer account or when the customer subscribes to JETEX newsletter. JETEX solely uses the data provides without customer expressed permission to process the order. With completion of the contract and full payment customer data is blocked for further use and deleted after the tax and commercial storage periods unless the customer has expressly approved further use of data beyond these periods. When subscribing to the JETEX newsletter, customer e-mail address is used solely for this purpose until the customer unsubscribes from the newsletter. The customer can unsubscribe at any time.

Disclosure/transfer/sharing of personal data

JETEX will transfer customer data to the shipping company as far as required to successfully conduct and complete shipment and delivery. For the settlement of payments JETEX shall forward your data to the bank that has been mandated to transfer the payment only if required.


Right of information

According to the Swiss Federal Act of Data Protection the customer has a right to request free information on stored personal data. The customer also has the right to have the data modified, blocked or deleted at any time.

Visitors may subscribe to JETEX electronic newsletter. Newsletter subscribers must provide the following information: title, first name, last name and email address. JETEX uses its newsletter to periodically inform customers on special offers, promotions and sales. Users who no longer wish to receive the JETEX newsletter may click on the link titled ‘Sign Out’. This link is included in all Jegen Textiles AG promotional e-mails.

Google Analytics Tracking

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies which are text files that are stored visitor’s personal computer to analyse use of JETEX’s website. The information on the visitor’s use of the website (including IP address) generated by the cookie will be transmitted to and stored in a Google server in the USA. Google uses this information to evaluate how visitors make use of the website, generates reports on website activity for website operators and provides information on other website activity and Internet use. Google may also transfer the data to third parties when required by law or where third parties process information on Google's behalf.
